How They Participate

What They Do

Anchor Mom Advisors (AMAs) meet periodically to offer their perspectives on emerging issues, review question framing, and help interpret themes surfaced in the data.

Anchor Moms do not determine research outcomes or conclusions. Count on Mothers retains full research independence and methodological rigor in all nationally representative studies.

Their role ensures that our work remains grounded in lived experience while maintaining the credibility required to inform institutional decision-making.

Involvement may include:

Sharing firsthand experiences shaping family life today.
Highlighting state and regional concerns you see affecting families in your area.
Identifying blind spots or overlooked pressures.
Reflecting on how findings resonate across communities.

Meet the Anchor Mom Advisors
