The Role

What Is an Anchor Mom Advisor?

Anchor Mom Advisors are part of a national community of mothers who help ensure Count on Mothers reaches a wide, representative sample of voices across the U.S. Each Advisor brings forward the real lives and stories of mothers in her community—urban, suburban, and rural. Advisors help strengthen the reach and representation of our studies by sharing surveys locally and highlighting the issues families are experiencing on the ground.

Each state has one or two Advisors, with additional alternates welcome.

Why It Matters

Why Your Voice Is Essential

Many mothers across the U.S. are rarely reached by national research, especially those in communities where surveys don’t often circulate. As an Anchor Mom Advisor, you help bring those voices forward by sharing surveys locally and highlighting the concerns mothers are talking about in your community, state, and region.

With only one or two Advisors in each state, your involvement plays an important role in helping national insights reflect the diverse realities of families across the United States.
