November 8, 2024
A lot has happened since we last posted.
First, before anything else… Congratulations to Kate from Altamonte Springs, FL for winning our first raffle! Few things make us as happy as sending gifts to moms from Brands We Love. Thank you all for being in for the count! We look forward to next week for the next round when the survey goes live.
We’re checking in with you and paying attention to potential shifts in policy that will affect our kids and families. At Count on Mothers, our primary focus is to compile data on mothers’ views, needs, and experiences that will inform policymakers and shine a bright light on a clear path toward thriving families. We have compiled 8 months of reports from 2024, and will use our research, including our reports over the past two years, to inform our ongoing monthly studies and future work as we get ready for January and the new session.
We represent ALL mothers. Your voice, as always, is critical in our work, and so are as many mothers as we can include as we near January. We hope you’ll consider sharing this with moms you love so they’ll join us!
As mothers go, so goes the nation. So, our job is to produce a representative sample so that we may show accurate information on where mothers “want to go,” and amplify our findings.
The Study
During November and December, we are collaborating with the Clean Label Project to find out your biggest concerns about food safety, labeling, levels of metals in baby and toddler foods, and the best ways to keep our kids safe. This partnership is driven by your responses from our June and July surveys which showed food issues (nutrition, access, and safety) and food industry manufacturers as two of your greatest concerns. We’ll be including the results from our October study on the “Safe School Meals Act” (722 mothers completed the survey from across all U.S. regions and political affiliations, the report will be posted next week), particularly your responses on what is important to provide in school lunches. Your firsthand experiences and voice on these matters are critical.
We’re looking forward to the power, strength, and vision of mothers. Thank you for joining the count!
UPDATE: The survey has now closed.
